Employing best industry practices, standardized designs and strong project management, our Cobalt team works with world-class deepwater technology innovators and providers through every stage of development, to ensure timely delivery of critical equipment and resources.

We are aggressively implementing critical enablers and key activities to reduce the cycle time between discovery and first production. Besides securing a long lead drilling inventory (wellheads, tubulars, etc.), we have established some 45 Master Service Agreements with key service providers.

In addition, we have preliminary appraisal and early development scenarios available for all of our key prospects. The Cobalt team has defined and engineered a standardized and repeatable solution for sub-surface development. Strategic partnerships are being pursued to support rapid project development execution and early production facilities.

These actions will rapidly move Cobalt from discovery through development to achieve our first production targeted between 2012 and 2014.
